About Me
I am passionate about understanding healthy aging and late-life quality of life, and applying that understanding to improving outcomes for older adults. Specifically, I have published research focusing on preservation of physical and cognitive function, living/aging with disability, and understanding/preventing elder abuse.
I also have a passion for data science and digital epidemiology. The idea that we can learn about, and potentially affect, health outcomes by analyzing data that may or may not have been collected with health outcomes in mind, is one of the most exciting prospects in the health sciences – at least to me.
